

Ten students from each of the partnering schools were selected through a rigorous, competitive application process. In support of Goldman Sachs’ commitment to local workforce development, the LCC brings together forty high-performing students from four academic institutions in close proximity to the firm’s offices in Jersey City and New York City.

This is a unique leadership program that brings together college students with Goldman Sachs business leaders to develop leadership, career readiness, business management, analytical, teamwork, networking, and presentation skills.

Saint Peter’s, for the fifth consecutive year, participated in the Goldman Sachs Local College Collaborative (LCC). The course focuses on the analysis of complex business problems and their causes and the inter-functional implications of potential solutions.Ģ021 GSLCC – From the Guarini School Newsletter The team will be presenting their business case challenge to representatives from Overground, Salesforce and Goldman Sachs on May 7th.Īt Saint Peter’s this program is offered in conjunction with a three credit academic course, Business Problem Solving, which gives students the theoretical basis and practical tools to excel in the program. This year the Saint Peter’s LCC Team has been assigned to work with Overground Cloud Services, a Salesforce Consulting Partner. Students receive academic credit and/or a stipend from their respective school for participating in the LCC. The entire LCC cohort also meets periodically to network with one another and hear from Goldman Sachs business leaders on professional development topics. School pods are assigned a public company to evaluate and are given business case challenges that are aimed to address finance, public relations, human resources, and other key areas. Over the course of a semester, students work alongside their peers and Goldman Sachs coaches forming “school pods”.
